JetBlue Airways Reports December Traffic

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ:JBLU) reported its preliminary traffic results for December 2015. Traffic in December increased 11.3 percent from December 2014, on a capacity increase of 9.5 percent.

Load factor for December 2015 was 83.0 percent, an increase of 1.4 points from December 2014. JetBlue’s preliminary completion factor was 99.7 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 70.1 percent. JetBlue’s preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of December decreased approximately five percent year over year.
