JetBlue (Nasdaq:JBLU) today announced its latest effort to reduce TSA
screening checkpoint wait times. Through a limited time offer from the
airline’s TrueBlue loyalty program, JetBlue will cover the enrollment
fees for TSA Pre✓® for its Mosaic TrueBlue members (a).
Mosaics are JetBlue’s most frequent fliers.
Mosaic members approved for the program will enjoy expedited screening
and smarter security as they travel at participating U.S. airports. TSA
Pre✓® helps travelers move more efficiently though security
by leaving their shoes, belt and light outerwear on, and in most cases
keeping their laptop computers and 3-1-1 compliant liquids and gels in
their carry-on bag.

TrueBlue members with Mosaic status who currently do not have a Known
Traveler Number listed in their loyalty program profile will receive an
email from JetBlue by July 1 with a special promotional award code that
can be redeemed for a TSA Pre✓® Enrollment Voucher. Once an
appointment is scheduled with TSA, this voucher can be used in lieu of
payment to cover the application cost. This offer is valid for TrueBlue
members who earned Mosaic status before June 30, 2016 and codes are
valid for redemption through September 30, 2016.
Once approved for TSA Pre✓® customers can add their Known
Traveler Number to reservations prior to check-in or in their TrueBlue
profile. Then, they can print boarding passes from home with the TSA Pre✓®
logo or access via JetBlue’s mobile application. TSA Pre✓®
and JetBlue mobile boarding passes are available in most of JetBlue’s

JetBlue has been working with the TSA to reduce wait times for all
customers. The airline has provided crewmembers and third-party
personnel for non-security positions so that TSA officers can be
redeployed for additional screening lanes. JetBlue and the TSA have been
collaborating on queue designs for optimum flow and a better customer
experience. JetBlue also shares flight data with TSA to assist with
check point staffing.
Travelers may visit
TSA.gov to apply for TSA Pre✓®. The Department of
Homeland Security (DHS) also has a list
of trusted traveler programs that will provide TSA Pre✓®
eligibility to travelers. For customers that are not part of the Known
Traveler program, JetBlue will continue to offer its Even
More Speed expedited speed product, available for purchase per
